In addition, we also export electricity from Finland to Russia when market conditions and prices favour this. As a balance responsible company both in Finland and Norway, RAO Nordic takes care of the management of its power balances and transmission service contracts for cross-border connections in all operational processes.
Over the years, cross-border trading operations at RAO Nordic Oy have been developed in cooperation with electricity suppliers, traders and transmission operators in Russia and the Nordic countries.
